Also what I noticed is some hustle even without tackling, and not full speed. Shultz caught a pass, had it knocked out of his hands. But he went after the ball, dove on it to recover it.

I think that last note about the pass rush giving the offense problems is what led to the signing of Pace Murphy. But that suggests to me that Collins and Erving won't be back all that soon.

I think the greatest part of a new staff is going to be a new mindset
To me that’s a big part of why guys like jimmy and Parcells were winners
They got guys to play up to their potential

Yes, I seen something the other day, they need some depth to help the OL in practice. I believe you are correct.

1ts occupy the center and hopefully a guard to push the pocket and collapse plays before they begin. 3Ts shoot the gap and penetrate to make plays or open holes for the Mikes behind them to make plays. At least I think that's what they do. Just saying McCoy left a huge hole behind so it'd be nice to see recent draft capital at DT (Hill and Gallimore) begin to pay off sooner rather than later.

The comment wasn’t in reference to you saying Hill/Gallimore should replace McCoy. Your comment was you hoped they looked better than Poe. So in that instance, you insinuated that Hill and Gallimore (3T’s) were in competition with Poe (1T). Which wouldn’t make sense because they are both competing for snaps at a position that doesn’t include Poe.

Would be like me saying “Hope Antwuan Woods looks better than Aldon Smith.” It’s just an arbitrary statement at that point. If you didn’t mean any correlation and simply wanted to say you hoped our 3T’s look better than our starting 1T then my b, but definitely came off as if you felt they were in direct competition with one another.

We are trying to run an offense w a 5th string RT against DLaw.

Someone needs to get healthy.

This also tells me Mitch Hyatt is not at all a swing tackle, which tells me he has zero shot here.

I haven’t heard anything at all about Hyatt.
