It's on every night from like 8:20 until 10 est.

And yes, I recorded most of the Burnett interview. Will have it up in a few minutes. Burnett loves him some Sam Hurd!!!

I am recording Big Nate right now talking about how Ratliff is tearing it up at camp.

Actually, I think it is 7:20 to 9:00 CST... So over 1.5 hours every night. :)

Burnett is one confident mofo, isn't he? Not shy about talking about money, either. I can see how his attitude would rub people the wrong way a little bit, like it supposedly did at the combine.

I liked hearing that too.

I was hoping Austin would really step up. It appears he's flat. I feel his athletic ability would really serve us well. But if he's not taking the next step....

I'm glad to hear that Hurd IS TAKING CHARGE. The last think I wanted to have happen was for us to have to choose from two guys that couldn't distinguish themselves.

It's still early, but this is promising. I would love to see Hurd challenge Crayton for number two.

Did Nate just say the Skins were the best team in the division?

Wow.....maybe we're selling them short after all?

Yes, you are right. I fixed it.

Yeah Burnett seems to know he has a role in this team even if he's not a starter.

Here's what I got of the Burnett interview.

Nate was a very good OL, but the Skins aren't the best team in the NFC.

As for Austin, it apparently looked very good in OTAs/minicamp. Anyway, it's way too early to give up on him; we've still got a long way to go in TC and then there's those preseason games. There's a lot of time for Austin to step forward.

In the departure of T.G. a young player has to step forth. As of right now I see Sam Hurd Stepping in and taking the number 3 spot. He has raised his game and comes to practice with the correct attitude every day.

He catches the ball which is A#1 number. It does not matter if the ball is high, short, low or across the middle Sam takes the attitude "the ball is mine". Just watch how he attacks the football no matter where it is. 17 will get his hands dirty to; you'll see him from time to time blocking ends and outside LB's (170 maybe v.s. 250+). He has a true heart and passion for the game and it shows in his play. A coaches dream.

Without wasting all of my rest time I will give you what people respect most about Sam.
1. He plays hard every play
2. He will go across the middle
Last but not least he does not just play special teams, he's good at it.

Tonight I will tell you what we do to the rookies.

Sam Hurd: No one works harder

Trust me, when I tell you no one works harder than No. 17 on this team.

You hope guys like Sam Hurd have success because they do whatever they can to get better every day. It started his rookie year, when he worked out with T.O. after every - let me repeat every - practice.

And nothing has changed in his third year. He gets on the practice field early and catches passes and runs routes. After practice, he works on his releases with Anthony Henry for a few minutes before going to the JUGGS machine and catching passes for 10-15 minutes or so in various positions.

That's how you get better. There's no magic pill. It's hard work plain and simple. And it's the reason Hurd has a chance to make a significant contribution this season.
