Why does the cowboys training camp start later than every other team?

and I believe they also have the shortest training camp, but i might be wrong.

Giants start 3 days sooner, and considering we play them in the opener, will these give them advantage?

they basically get 12% more practice time then we do.

The Cowboys will have rookies and QBs practices at Cowboys Stadium from July 25th to July 27th. Injured players can also attend. That is 2 days sooner than the Giants.

12% may not seem like a lot for those on these forums that have never played football...but 2-3 days of practice can easily make a difference between just understanding and fine tuning.
