Training Camp Tips/Questions

I'm heading to training camp this weekend. Some quick questions:

1. How early should we get there? I'm going to both practices on Sat and Sun.

2. Cost? Do they charge -- and if so, how much?

3. Does anyone know about camera restrictions? There has been a thread on this, but no one knew the answer then. I plan on taking a zoom lens (~250mm).

Any other tips?

Thanks guys.

Look at the thread entitled something like "a fans guide to training camp" for how early to arrive and where to sit/stand when you get in. There is no charge to get in, but there is a charge for parking. I haven't heard of any restrictions on still cameras.

Can you do me a favor while you are there?

First time Flo jumps offsides can you give him a swift kick to the groin for me? Thanks.

From my experience...

1. Depends on what seat you want. 1 hour early minimum.

2. Charge for parking. $8-10. Entrance is free. Charge you the 2nd time if you leave before the 2nd practice. So park and plan to stay.

4. 250mm is a no no. You'll have to sneak it in somehow. You aren't allowed a zoom lens but tons of people get them in somehow. I lied last time and said mine didnt zoom. My lens was off and hidden. They just saw the body of my camera so they were fooled. But if they're forbidden I dont see how people get them in. *shrugs*

Keyster stash the zoom lens.

No need. Haven't you heard that things are different now? There is a new Enforcer in camp. Believe in Buehler.

Thanks. Have a link handy? I tried looking for something like this but couldn't. The search function is almost unusable on the site now that they bumped it up to 60 seconds between searches. Perhaps they could lower the requirement for "Zone Supporters."

Cool. I may have to forget I left it in my wife's purse.

You don't have to impress us, you can admit to a man-purse.
I feel self-conscious enough carrying around the camera bag, which looks like a manpurse.

Too bad the camera can't fit in my fannypack.
