This game coming up is THE trap game of the year.......so far.........
This team. All the hype. Coming of a big win on the road against the Puckers. Looking good.
The coaching staff better keep this group grounded and serious and prepared for every game.
The Skins have been a pain in the arse for a few years now. This game has "trap" written all over it!! Remember the game two years ago? 13-0 with two minutes left? Final score was 14-13 Commanders................
Just thinking out loud here. Just worried about coming home cocky and arrogant and thinking that we're "all that".
Please, just show up and play hard and pummel them like we're supposed to.
Please................................

I wouldn't consider this game a trap game. However if we lose then yeah it's a trap game.

Russian Roulette with a fully loaded pistol with me calling first is a trap game.

i agree with the OP 100%. This game is a complete trap game. Vegas has set the line at 11.5 and it appears the entire public is on the skins plus the points, Im saying its a TRAP!!! Take the Boys and give the points. Should be an easy W. Boys 31 Skins 17

We lost that game b/c Parcells decided to call off the dogs after going up 13-0(and Cortez's missed FG didn't help either).

As for this being a "trap" game, aren't the Skins 2-1, winning their last 2 after dropping their opener to the defending champs?

Here's what I DO know-we need to PROTECT our own territory like we did against the Eagles, why? B/c these NFCE matchups are tough-going into FedEx and winning is easier said than done, so we at least need to take care of business on our end this weekend. I think our Boys WILL be prepared to do so.

Green Bay was a trap game too...

The "trap" game is an excuse that average teams use as a reason why they lost a game they should have won. We had a lot of "trap" games under Bill Parcells because we werent that great.

We're the best team in football. You know it, I know it, and every football fan in America without an agenda knows it. This is a game that should be over after 3 quarters. Washington is a horribly average team that has come off two consecutive wins against fellow average teams at home by a combined 12 points. They were down by 9 with 10 minutes left to New Orleans (a team that was getting schallacked by 3 TDs this week before Denever decided to go into a shell) and needed late TDs in both to pull out wins. They have given up at least one 60 yard play in every game this season.

They are hobbled, expected to miss 3 starters including Jason Taylor

Jason Campbell is the proverbial "Windows upgrade" over Quincy Carter, slightly more efficient in several areas but still terribly mediocre and barely gets the job done. He looks his best when Zorn sends Moss on a fly route and he outruns the coverage. Newman won't allow for that.

Their rushing offense has been putrid. Portis is average something like 3.4 YPC so far.

Their defensive front without Taylor is a joke

If we dont win this game by 3+ scores I will be dissapointed.

Yeah, they're 2-1 with Jason Taylor out for the game. They're 2-1 with no one, and I mean NO ONE predicting "playoffs" for this team. In the NFC East, this team is bringing up the rear.
Listen, I love the Cowboys. Got a star tattooed on my leg. A die hard. But after that fiasco at the end of last year, I just don't want to get left at the alter again.
It's like family...............I can talk stink if I want, but no one else can!! All I'm saying is "watch out", and don't get a stupid and unnecessary "W" in the column due to nothing but being unprepared and cocky over a win at the hands of an overrated Pucker team. Prepare. Practice. Show up and play HARD. Don't take these guys for granted............
That's all I'm saying..............

Leaving out that they are and have always been our biggest rivals and that is a division opponent. Last years disgraceful showing in Washington is more then enough to get this team fired up.

With the expectations of this team every lose after a win would be considered a trap game. Is it conceivable even great teams lose a regular season game for what ever reason. The moderators need to get the Troll Patrol going because all this stupid sky is falling even though the team is 3-0, it has a bunch of question marks crap in every thread is really getting tiresome.

We have too many veteran players who have been around this league for far too long to let the team coast into the game without being prepared. We'll be ready to beat up on the Skins come Sunday.

some of you are being shortsighted if you think Washington is not good. First of all...they can play defense....believe that. Secondly, they would make the playoffs if they were in another division. I am pretty confident that they are better than everyone in the NFC South and NFC West....and the only NFC North team they are not better than is the Packers....but I think they would beat them in DC. What am I trying to say?, ....a very capable team from the NFC East is going to miss the playoffs. Again, it starts with there defense....if you cannot run the ball...Washington can hang with you all day. The only team they have lost to is a running team...the Giants. They shut both the Saints and Cardinals down. We should win because we can run...but teams that cannnot run will have a hard time beating the Skins.

Relax fella, the Skins have won like twice in the last 16 trips to Texas Stadium, we own their arse in our building.

Besides, the Skin suck this year. They had to go down to the wire to beat the freaking Cardinals in their house. How bad to you have to suck to almost get beat by the freaking Cardinals:laugh2:

The Giants may give us some good advice on that one.

I guarantee you we are not going to have to go to overtime to beat the freaking Bengals. The fact that the G-men had to go to overtime to beat them is the biggest joke going right now.

How many analyst are saying JACK about the G-men right now? They have beaten the Skins, Rams, and Bengals.

Excuse me if I am not impressed.
