Trap Game?

o_O

Since getting swept by NYG as a rookie, Dak teams have won 7-straight against them. In those wins, he’s completed 66% of his passes, averaging 282/game with 16 TDs & 2 INTs. 29 carries for 113 yds & one 11-yd TD catch. Average score of 31-19. Trap that!

For the millionth time....this is only a trap game to the fans

To the players they know exactly what it is....a division rival that knocked their qb out on the exact same field and same day last year.

Don't worry about them...they will be ready
Perfectly said. These guys get paid to play. They are prepared. If they lose....they lose. Has nothing to do with it being a "trap" or them overlooking them. Trap game has become a overrused term in sports to justify why the better team loses.....i.t just happens.

I can't believe people are really "worried" about this matchup lol. That's not even to say they can't lose......because they very well can. But just a week ago they were talking about how bad Jason Garrett was and he's calling plays for them so what's the concern now lol?

This is an opportunity for the giants to get one game closer to a divisional opponent. The Cowboys can put the Giants in an early season 3 game hole, so I bet they blow it. The giants are two late-game FGs from being 3-1 as well. They aren't playing terrible football so we should not take them so lightly.

I tend to agree with you. The giants will come out and take a few big chances early because Garrett knows he can't coach from behind. I think it will look close for a while but if we keep hitting them in the mouth they will eventually fall.

They are also a called back TD from the Saints and coming back from 11 in the fourth from 0-4. NFL is wild how that works lol

I expect a tough close game.

We are the better team. But years of failure makes us non believers lol. Even up 36-14 against Carolina, the entire fan base refused to breathe

Complacency has been one of the Cowboys worst enemies. One of the biggest issues the Cowboys here over the years is losing a game to a team they’re supposed to beat. Those are the games that can come back to haunt you. Cowboys have some tough games on the schedule including KC and Arizona. The Giants are a very beatable team and we need to go out on Sunday and take care of business!

No.

Not a trap game.

Dak always shows up to beat division rivals, especially at home.

The real "trap" game is that little Denver home game sandwiched between "better" opponents and road games. People think Denver will be a pushover and will be surprised.

Just like this Cowboys fan zone, the Dallas Cowboys could be distracted not paying attention to this NY Giants team that has lost 2 games by a combined 4 points and just beat Sean Payton's Saints.

Daniel Jones is more mobile and faster than Donald, Barkley is a better RB than Carolina had on Sunday, and the Giants defense is good at points allowed.

Cowboys have had self inflicted distractions. LVE is posting about fans flack towards Jaylon Smith, both Cooper and Elliott just return to practice after injuries and are only doing individual drills, and Dan Quinn is reading Jaylon Smith's good bye letters.

So just like the fans should do....Cowboys should move on to the Giants.
No NFL division foe matchup should fall under the category of a "trap game" - especially the NFC East.

Don't include me with the rest of the Cowboys Zone. I don't take for granted any opponent.

For sure, and that's expected...the Cowboys know this is going to be a physical game, Barkley and Danny dimes will have some big plays and the giants dline will get some pressures.

We will have to adjust and be ready for the hit in the mouth...Thankfully we have played some good teams and played a divisional rival already so they shouldn't be surprised.

Going be closer and uglier then we expect..unofficial score guess

19-13 cowboys win...Garett claps because he nearly won..

If this team is different like we hope that they are, then they shouldn't be overlooking the Giants.

"Trap Game" is a term created for fans who overlook the Giants. The Cowboys prepare every week for their opponent. Some weeks games will be a butt whooping, some they will lose, some will be close. But the final outcome is not a reflection of a "trap game". Any team can be beaten. Any Sunday. Has nothing to do with it being a "trap".

Wrong.

Parcells coined the term.

...I think MM will have them ready. Come out, guns blazing. We're SO... use to JG 10 yrs of never knowing what team will show up. It was mind blowing.

I am sure Kellen is telling DQ what Garrett is going to call on each play. This is going to be another spygate without the spying part.

players are not happy after Jaylon was flushed by Jerry.
