Trap Game?

I don't think there's a such thing as a trap game when you play a division rival.

Just like this Cowboys fan zone, the Dallas Cowboys could be distracted not paying attention to this NY Giants team that has lost 2 games by a combined 4 points and just beat Sean Payton's Saints.

Daniel Jones is more mobile and faster than Donald, Barkley is a better RB than Carolina had on Sunday, and the Giants defense is good at points allowed.

Cowboys have had self inflicted distractions. LVE is posting about fans flack towards Jaylon Smith, both Cooper and Elliott just return to practice after injuries and are only doing individual drills, and Dan Quinn is reading Jaylon Smith's good bye letters.

So just like the fans should do....Cowboys should move on to the Giants.

I have to remember that 26 years of losing and having a Losing mentality is what contributes to this type of reasoning. I really don’t blame you folks, but my patience is wearing thin!!!

LOL ......seems we all are saying the same thing. It's an important game that can't be overlooked. We just saying it differently

Division games are never “trap games”. We might lose the game— because division games are always street brawls. But if we do lose— it won’t be because we “looked past” the Giants.

I think Dak has the locker room focused and the coaches have the players bought into their vision. Glad this game is at home— and the Giants won their “desperation “ game last week

We should have Micah basically spy Barkley, Diggs take out one of their top receivers and then let the rest of our pass rush (Osa/RG/Golston and Anea) go to work. I have no idea how the GMen deal with our offense. If our guys stay healthy, holy cow…look out. Good health!

This is a legit trap game, and I expect the score to be a lot closer than what most people would like to think.
This game is only game for Cowboys ban wagon fans. The Giants are a NFC East team for the most part has beaten us in games that matter in our most recent history. I can’t imagine us over looking the Giants.

I’ll be honest this game doesn’t worry me one bit.

Or professional football in general. These are grown men paid to do a job.

Trap games are for kids.

I worry about every game. It's just my nature. It even took me awhile to trust the 90's team.

But I am closer to believing in this team than at any point since 2007.

We can't overlook them. Their front is line is pretty good, their QB is fast and only has 1 Int this year. Saquan is back at full speed. Gonna be a test.

maybe...2yrs ago.
personally...i think this current team takes the trap and breaks it over the giants heads.

But we know there plays. Just gotta contain Danny Dimes from running and Parsons blitzing should do that. I would send 5-6 even down.

Trap game like a bear in a mouse trap. This is revenge and it will be sweet.

Same stadium. Same team. Same week of the season. Heck even the date's only a day off.

But this time we don't have Andy Dalton in the bullpen to bail us out.

They should, but Quinn won't.

We'll likely play soft, vanilla defenses most of the 1st half, let the Gnats move the ball, giving their offense some confidence...and then the defense will have to clamp down in the 2nd half once some adjustments are made. So this game will most certainly be close into the 3rd quarter.

A lot of new Defensive players going to be in this game. A lot of vet Offensive players. Listening to the sound of the game week 4. The Offensive players on the sidelines talking about the young ones going off and going crazy.
