Travis Fredrick and Terrance Williams or Sharrif Floyd. How does it look now?

I know many were upset that we didn't take Sharrif Floyd at pick 18 in the 2013 NFL draft. How is that decision looking now to trade down and take Travis Fredrick and then using the third round pick from San Francisco to grab Baylor's Terrance Williams? I like what I have seen from both of these players and they should be part of this team's core for many years to come. Great trade by Jerry, Steven,Garrett and Will McClay.

Don't care about Floyd. I liked our picks then and I still like them now. I'll take the much better O-Line play over Floyd any day of the week.

To clarify the problem wasn't not taking Floyd, the problem was having him on our board at 5, and then ignoring the board. That was the problem I had.

this has been beat to death...great move...but the other side is.....Michael Brockers and Bobby Wagner or Mo Claiborne....you win some, you lose some on draft day.

Always liked the players, but, to be fair, no that I remember ever actually panned either of the players Dallas selected. A lot of people thought Dallas should have had more in the trade and some thought that Frederick could have been drafted at Dallas's original selection in the second round. Others thought it was nuts that Dallas had Floyd rated so high on their own board and passed on him. That reeked of an unorganized effort in putting together the board.

I'm down with some rueage, especially after yesterday's win, but I think this one is a little misplaced. Just my opinion.

Kudos to the front runner for executive of the year on this one. We have to start giving Jerry Jones props for what he has assembled.
