I agree, but this guy does have some tools and had a decent camp and preseason.

it's one thing to pick up a WR with some potential to be our #5/6

It's another thing to pick up a guy to play meaningful snaps who was cut by a team who has injuries at WR

Leggett used to have some wheels before the knee injuries. Travis Wilson is a Dallas area guy that went to OU and was a 3rd ound pick a few years ago. He is a strong guy that could find holes in zones. He is better and more ready to be a 3rd reciever than Jefferson. He could play outside unlike Amendola.

The 'boys need to figure out if Stanbeck can play with his injury quickly. If not get him on IR b/c the way it sets up now, even keeping 6 receivers 3 will be inactive.

Agreed, personally I prefer Martin Nance over Wilson among the current set of cuts...but "Sooner" has a good point in that Wilson is more ready than Jefferson to be a third wideout.

Yeah as a huge Miami Hurricanes fan I remember he had the unfortunate experience playing with some pretty bad QB's I think he's definitely a person worth taking a chance on.

If we can take a chance on a guy like Todd Lowber than you can do the same with Lance Leggett.

If I were Dallas i'd sign him and make him take the Colombo route.

Just make that guy lift like crazy and teach him the game.
