I was wondering if anyone had a treadmill they bought for $400 or less that they were happy with? I want to get my parents one so they can get back into walking. I only need it for walking and not running so it doesn't have to be as high grade or as big a motor. I know one I would want for running would probably be $1k ish, but from what I understand some of the budget ones will work for walking only.

This one for $350 has gotten good reviews......

I'd check craigslist. You can probably buy a very expensive one right for pennies on the dollar.

Most people buy these things and never use them. Ask me how I know.

If it is for your parents, you might consider this.
We just purchased it, haven't had it long enough for a good review yet.
Of course we are "really " old

I'm looking for a treadmill. They used to walk regularly but where they live now you can't really walk due to the crazy streets.
