Trent Dilfer - I think the Cowboys go to Minnesota and overwhelm the Vikings

I'm really liking Dilfer. But I do think it'll be a close game. Can't ever count Farve out and with Peterson, they'll be a tough out.

Actually, I've heard that those two brilliant prognosticators are going into the lucrative world of sports betting and using their 'keen insights' to pick NFL games full time.

:laugh2:

they would be broke in a week.

I think it will stay close through the first half. But in the 3rd quarter I believe we'll have more than proven by that point that AP isn't going to be allowed to run on us, we'll be up by 10, and that is when Favre will take over and try to make things happen and I believe that is when we'll get a couple of picks that will allow us to widen the margin a bit.

I'm still seeing something like a 34-17 Dallas victory.

I agree. I like all the love we are getting but that doesn't erase how well Peterson and Favre complement each other.

I have to disagree with Trent Dilfer.

I think this game is going to be decided late in the 4th Quarter.

Also, I wonder what type of effect the constant bashing of the Vikings' Tackles have on their mental state?

Please trent be the best prognosticator this weekend PLEASE !!!

I have to admit, Loadholt has done way better than I thought he would. He blowed during the Nat. Champ. game last year, so I thought he couldn't handle the speed of the NFL. We'll see how he holds up against Ware and Spencer.

I don't see any possible way we lose this game unless we have one of those games like the Philly game last year where everything just went wrong.

Sort of like when we played San Fran years ago when they had Deion Sanders, and out of the box, they were up like 3 or 4 touch downs from stupid mistakes, yet we still almost won that game.

Geez.... I hope our 'Boys don't get too caught up reading these press clippings. :shoot6:

That's my call. Just can't see them stopping our offense.

We are the best team they will play this year. Can't underestimate the impact that can have on a team. There will be a little shock value when they see and feel just how good we are.

The strength of our front seven. Defending the run and rushing the passer.

The coverage ability of our secondary.

The efficiency, accuarcy and improvisational skill of Romo.

The speed of Felix.

We've palyed the best of the best. SD, NO. They haven't.

He also told Cowherd that the Vikings pass rush will not be that good against the Cowboys because of Romo does a lot of 3 step drops, has a quick release, and the Boys are excellent at the draw play. Just FYI.

He's been riding the Boys all year so no tuning back now.
Good for him....it has been unpopular, but he has stuck to his guns.

Ever since we beat Philly last week, I havent thought that Minn can stay within 10 points of us.

The confidence of this team is flying high...

If they go to Minnesota and L*** I will lose my mind

it's really dumb to predict a winner when I have nothing to do with the outcome--strange things can happen, too many variables--but if we do not turn the ball over, we win

Dilfer's a smart guy.

Side with America's team and you're siding with America's fans...that's a lot of clout in the media bizz.

If we end up winning it all Dilfer is going to look like a genius in comparison to every other analyst.

...here's hoping he does'nt look like a goat...

...we should also consider the fact that the Vikings and Childress, in particular, are under a HUGE amount of pressure in this game...Childress bought his extension un-retiring Brett Favre...if this gamble falls through and Favre retires, the organization will be left with a lot of questions, particularly at the QB position...fans seem to want McNabb or Tim Tebow...they probably get neither imo...

...there's also the talk of Wilf moving the team if a new stadium can't be built...

...while they are loaded with talent on offense, the defense is a cause for concern...Jackson and Rosenfels are still green and the schedule just gets tougher next year...the time is now for them because if Favre retires the door probably slams shut because i don't think they'll run away with the division next year, not without good quarterback play...they played the 29th ranked schedule this year...
