Green said he thought there should be a rookie salay cap and that money should go to the veterans.

If rookie plays well then recieve incentive pay and sooner fee agency.

What did Alex Smith get 25 million guarateed last year, 50 million total. 11 int, 1 td. And Ryan Leaf types. Ridiculous! While veteran pro bowlers are not paid what they should.

BTW Leinart is a complete idiot for not turning pro last year. How much will he lose 20 million or more?

that doesn't sound like a bad idea... plus the incentive pay for rookies is absolutely tremendous... Petitti got a quarter of a million dollar check for starting last season didn't he?

I agree with it. It is crazy that these first round rookies get soo much damn money that they have not even earned yet.

There should be something with bonuses and whatnot during their first contract.

i think rookies are way overpaid as well. after they prove themselves then they will make their money
