They're going to try for sure. But they're going to be trying with backups. And backup backups. If we can't stop that? We can't stop anybody and have no business thinking about the postseason.

The ball is lined up on the tee for us here.

Do we have sharks or minnows waiting to attack that OL....or minnows thinking they are sharks....

would be great if he gets his 1st sack, or 2....though many will say "well, it was against scrubs".
too bad, not everyone will be happy...I hope they are happy if we win it though ...lol...

It’s a big win for us if we get it. 2-0 in the division, big road win in Washington.

Puts us at 4-3, back into the wild card race and in striking distance of Philly

Rod will probably play 3 DL and play totally passive. Wouldn't want to take any chances out there.

what? You dont think a teams best unit missing maybe 3 starters and the backup left tackle isn't a big deal?

Go back to the Green Bay playoff game last year. Packers were decimated with injuries how did that turn out. You still have to play the game, and backups are not scrubs at this level.

Big day for Collins/Price/Crawford/Irving!

Should be Lawrence and he would surely wreck shop. But Marinelli will leave him on the other side and not bother moving him to where the clear mismatch lies. He proved this vs Green Bay.

This could be a plan, as wet slippery conditions usually favor the offense better. as they know where they are going, and the defense has to react, so can cause more slipping on the last second cuts to cover the WR's. And with their TE's and our LB's trying to cover them could be a mess.
So drop an extra defender and play a bit of a zone.
Thing is, Cousins throws minimal INT's so he could slice and dice us if not careful.

I think the first few series will be how does their OL look, and if we can get to Kirk with 3 or need 4 to rush. I expect a conservative game plan to start, pending weather / field conditions.

Well that’s it. Commanders dominate on the ground all game and nobody even sniffs cousins.

really wish I could argue but our past history of when we face backups or teams that are injury decimated is not good.

I can see this and if I'm Jerry I leave Marinelli stranded in Landover, MD and with a notice of immediate termination of contract.

Not the same. But if you think it is that is fine.

Ill never forget that playoff game against Seattle (the Romo placehold gaffe game). Their secondary was descimated, I think they had to sign someone who hadnt been playing just a week before that game. I was chomping at the bit but somehow they got it done.

How is it not the same? Packers had players out and we sucked.

Packers are pretty notorious for not losing a beat when they are hampered with injuries. Look at the year they won the super bowl

The Skins are losing a lot of talent.

Top 3 LT our
Top 5 OG out
Starting C out
MLB out
