I love Diggs, best Cowboys corner of 2000's. Turn-overs are everything in the NFL and he is a turn-over machine.
That said, teams have no problem throwing at him and by no means is he a shut-down corner. I suspect the Rodgers / Brady types will happily test him in the post-season.
I think he will get better over time, however, I don't think he is quick twitch enough every to be "on an island", etc. That's fine.
He sums up the modern day Pro Bowl. Overlook substance for style.
Nobody is turning on him.I posted in an earlier thread that when the interceptions dry up, this place will turn on him.
Thought it would take till next season though.
Yes. 4 catches surrendered in 2 full games with 0 tds and less than 100 yards combined is zero substance. You nailed it. Maybe watch the games with your eyes open next time.He sums up the modern day Pro Bowl. Overlook substance for style.

This is why he's graded so poorly on PFF. He's a gambler. Sometimes it pays off. Most of the time it does not. Fans tend to remember only the INTs.
That said, I think Jimmy Johnson would have loved him.
Man, I'm a Diggs fan but, he has allowed more yards than any other CB in the league and by quite a margin. Some of this is off his aggressive approach but some is attributable to the fact that he's a young player and on the early side of the position's learning curve. He is high risk / high reward for sure at this point in his career. I want him on my team as I'm sure he'll continue to progress .. at least until he gets a big payday.
