Harris was a good CB and I’m sure he knows how to play the position... I think everyone knew woods was supposed to be over the top.Listen, he's got some bad habits, but unlike Anthony Brown who grabs cloth the second he is stressed, Diggs' issues is all fixable.
Eye discipline and hand usage mainly.
I'm a little worried that the DB coach was "talking" to Diggs after Woods got beat deep for the TD, but for all I know, he was just calming him down. If the coach felt it was Diggs fault, then we may have a DB coaching issue.
Diggs is going to be very good. The pluses he brings can't be taught. He just needs fine tuning.
I'm an advocate for Al Harris. I'm hopeful he's legit and not just someone McCarthy is comfortable/familiar with.Harris was a good CB and I’m sure he knows how to play the position... I think everyone knew woods was supposed to be over the top.
Just a great draft pick.
Just a great draft pick.
He’s played 3 NFL gamesI have hope for him, but he has a long way to go.
He honestly looks the way D REvis did in 2007. He had tight coverage most of the time but gave up a few catches. The next year, he was allowed to use the arm bar and became a all-time great. He’s played 3 NFL games
That's why I have hope for him. He’s played 3 NFL games
Its technique more than speed. His speed is starting to scare me. Lockett, Metcalf, Russell Gage, Julio... they've all got behind him easily. Every one of those guys runs a low 4.4 at worst.
If I had to guess, I'd say Diggs looks like a 4.5 guy on the field. When you match him up against guys like Freak. K. Metcalf, who was timed at a DeSean Jackson-esque 4.33 and definitely plays somewhere south of 4.4, that dude's going to be open for 100+ yards worth of shot plays, and neither experience nor coaching for Diggs can fix that.
