I think he called out the coaching staff. Starting to read his own old clippings too much. C'mon Trevon, be better than what we're watching on the field.

He was holding his edge pretty good this last game.
He did actually make some tackles. That play however, it did look like he let up. I doubt it gets a second look if we didn't see him avoid Kittle in the playoffs.

Diggs is a victim of his own making. I'm sorry man, but when you've got an established history of making business decisions people are gonna key in on you.

I think that’s why he was frustrated with the reporter

He felt like he worked hard to make tackles and play the run and then got draggged through the mud

I personally like Trevon - hoping he gets back to old coverage form

Some fans know as much about building a championship defense as Jerry from some responses. There's no trevon diggs on a championship team lol.

If someone compares diggs to Sneed or Ramsey I might throw up.

This secondary was built to force turnovers. Zim needs to let them do that.

We all cried for a more classical approach to playing defense. But that's not what this squad is and Quinn knew it. I mean he partially built it himself.

Now for using that as an effective tool the offense needs to give us a lead or at least pull the opponent into a scoring match. This also doesn't happen right now. And by the way, didn't happen before against good opponents and that's why we failed there.

This whole team was built like a college football team. And when the pretty play doesn't work and a real strong guy steps onto the field and forces you to play power football, fighting for every single point, we're toast.

Diggs isn't one of the bigger problems. But if we ever change our strategy (rebuild) then he's on of the guys who has to bring in draft capital.

So what, tackling is in the job description. Our front 7 is soft too, but Diggs doesn't get to escape blame
There's a distinct Jaylon Smith approach to his tackling ability / technique and on the run defense I think we try and hide him, which is a problem, especially if he's playing outside Micah (and Micah's focusing on pass-rush).

This thread is another example of fans trying to excuse their 'pet cat'. The team has multiple issues and us overpaying for players that have 'glaring' weaknesses is (imo) one the biggest problems......especially as Jerry plays for flash.

CB's are not the foundation of any run defense. You just don't want to see them avoiding contact or pulling up when the situation calls for them to make a play.
