We have plenty of slow wide receivers with good hands.
How is he slow?
Only person I saw really cook him was DK and of course he’s just a freak of nature lol.

Good post, that is what this time of year is about...trying new things. 100% Diggs should be one of the WRs in a hail Mary situation.
Diggs should be getting reps at WR just to see what he can do...that's good coaching. Not saying #7 is better than true WR options, but he's worth a look.

Yes , I think that is right , let him learn and perfect his craft ( not gambling for INTs only ) and become a shutdown corner.Just leave him at CB. I think your over thinking it he’s not Prime.
Gambling for ints lololol. What a joke.Yes , I think that is right , let him learn and perfect his craft ( not gambling for INTs only ) and become a shutdown corner.
Not saying he can't do it, but do we really need him to?disagree like Parsons Diggs is muti talented guy and can be as good a wr in spot duty as he is a CB, i guarantee it..just because you havnt seen it doesn't make it true..Dieon did ok as wr I'm betting Diggs can do as good or better.
the only reasons teams did this with players like BO and Dieon is they were willing to risk it , todays salary cap and smaller rosters etc teams have avoided having two way payers but if there ever were any on our team, diggs qualifies. He literally plays the CB spot like a wr!
his balls skills, hands, and the way he runs after and INT shows he can be wr if needed in sport duty, most teams now wont even let their star Wrs return punts anymore..Dieon wouldn't be Dieon in this era..he would be making 28 mil year and teams wouldn't let his be a 3 way player.
Not saying he can't do it, but do we really need him to?
I'd rather have him not gassed when playing corner.
Also a serious injury risk.
Risk vs reward isn't there IMO.
Is this something the team has talked about doing?
Well I was talking about it as a regular thing, like him taking regular snaps at WR.NEED not on the regular but in games with stagnate offense late situationally wanting to manufacturer a win, yes like in baseball we've seen pitchers hit and hitters pitch especially in extra innings ..IE 9ers game If we needed spark why not..?that would've taken 9ers by surprise and who knows either a s decoy or make huge play late in that game etc..ie a difference maker....
I mean in the NFL weve seen the qb go out and catch a pass or 1st down or a td, didn't Foles win SB that way? odd guys lie Sanders used to pay 3 positions in spot duty but now a fan now beloves it can't be done.
risk reward sure that's what we are talking about situationally using guys to be creative and catch team off guard.
lets take some note cards so Moore LOL status quo late in game especially some on the line need addressing.. everting and the kitchen sink needs to be used to win games..Well I was talking about it as a regular thing, like him taking regular snaps at WR.
As far as a gimmick type thing to catch a team off guard, sure. Sounds good.
I know who Diggs is, and I know Prime never got 11 picks in a season.Just leave him at CB. I think your over thinking it he’s not Prime.
Name oneI have had several special players over the years and when you lean on them too much their production lessens.
I had BJ Emmons for four years. He plays on The Tampa bay Bandits now as one of the two running backs.Name one
Is your name Bum Phillips?I had BJ Emmons for four years. He plays on The Tampa bay Bandits now as one of the two running backs.
I played him on Offense and Defense one year because he was simply the best player on the field and i wore him down. Didn't have the same burst as my main back.
Because QBs didn't throw at Deion very often.I know who Diggs is, and I know Prime never got 11 picks in a season.
You name me 4 Wrs/TEs on the Cowboys better than Diggs to have attempting to catch a hail mary pass.
Funny, it occurred to me recently that Parsons is a Bo Jackson type freak of freak athletes.while interesting ie Parsons looks like a Bo knows guy, a big no.. makes more sense of Diggs..parsons is already playing the wheres waldo all over the defense and he goes 100% on every play. I rather give Diggs a shot here and there at being his brother LOL
If Diggs is better at WR than Tolbert or James Washington then there is a problem.Sounds crazy but I'm talking about 3-5 plays a game on offense.
He was a WR in high school with back to back thousand yard seasons his junior and senior year.
At the most recent Pro Bowl competitions, Diggs won 1st place in a receiving contest and was the only defensive player in the competition.
Perhaps he shares some of the same attributes as a 1st team All Pro and one of the most prolific receivers in the present day NFL, none other than his brother.
Just another potential weapon for occasional sit Stefon.
I believe he has legitimate receiving skills and could help the Cowboys in certain situations. He's got great hands and is extremely competitive. His experience as a 1st team All Pro cornerback could help him against his defensive opponents.
If the Cowboys feel like they don't have sufficient WR talent in certain situations, perhaps Diggs could help them. It doesn't have to be a designed play for him but he would still have to be considered a legitimate threat and i think he would be.
Four receiver sets, Hail Mary passes into the endzone at the end of a half, and 3rd and long plays are situations where he may be able to help, any play where good hands are critical.Again, I'm not talking about any kind of leading role, just another option to consider.
