Trevon Diggs

Helps when facing underwhelming QBs such as Tayson Hill, ..Heineke, and Glennon ... Once Diggs faced the better QBs such as Kyler Murray or receivers like
Davante Adams, Hopkins, Metcalf, etc. he will advanced to the next step up ..

His coverage is still not there yet ,.. still too up and down ... only last week he gave up a TD pass to Cam Sims whose a far lesser receiver than Terry McLaurin.

But his performance vs McLaurin regardless of Heineke - as well as what he did vs Bucs Mike Evans ...shows his capability and potential.

And oh man , is he is so much of an Everson Walls INT machine ..
That was a heck of a catch. Diggs was there for that one just like the one this week only the wr was just a bit taller and came down with it, but Diggs had coverage. It was just a great catch.

.. same with Denver's Tim Patrick ?
.. same with Vikes justin jefferson ?
... same with Keenan Allen ?
... same with Pat's Kendrick Bourne (who?)

Diggs will give up separation, big catches and big plays ..he's vulnerable to the deep pass, but he will also hawk and zoom in on passes for INT too.
No way is he a " 37th ranked CB " as so called PPF ratings wants to chart at some point, that's why i pay them little mind.

He has a quick, short memory when it comes to mistakes and doesn't let his confidence get down after giving up a big play.

He's relentless and recovers mentally very quickly and already a master at anticipating routes, QB tendencies and jumping passes.
He won't drop many passes that hits his hands. Great hands and eye-hand coordination. Very WR like.

Imo, Diggs is not big on pure recovery speed, so he depends so heavily on positioning, playing angles and high points, ...oh yes, he can be grabby-handsy, sometimes
he can get away with it, (ala vs Desean Jackson) ...and sometimes he'll get caught and flagged.

You missed the point of my post. I said 09 Jenkins. I only respect one year of his career. In 09 he was an elite cover corner, imo, the best corner player from a cowboys player every in one season since I been a fan. Better than Newmans best year. I only saw saw turd toe Deion in Dallas. Jenkins was elite for one season. I dunno what he took that year but he was elite. The rest of his career was forgettable.

Diggs play this year has surpassed that season by Jenkins
Jenkins issue was attitude and he never got past his shoulder injury.
