The players behind Moehrig are also excellent. There are a number of players who won’t hear their name in the first round but will definitely be drafted early in the second; as many as six safeties could be selected in the second round and make immediate impacts at the next level. Below are my top safeties, behind Moehrig, in this class; the order might change after Pro Day numbers are released.

2. JEVON HOLLAND, OREGON

3. RICHIE GRANT, UCF

4. HAMSAH NASIRILDEEN, FLORIDA STATE

5. ANDRE CISCO, SYRACUSE

In his freshman and sophomore seasons at Syracuse, Cisco had a mind-boggling 13 interceptions; that is rare ball production and something NFL teams covet.

We can't get Farley, Surtain or Horn plus Moehrig there is no way too get one of the top CB's and the top Safety all 4 will be gone in the 1st Round. I see Farley in the 1st and Grant in the 2nd.

Anyone that has Cisco at 5 isn't worth paying attention to. Guy gets burned as much as he makes plays. Washington also getting no mention.

My issue with Washington is his short. Kid can flat out ball. Just not sure he will be an every down FS

But if he isn't in your top five your list is already wrong and then having Cisco in there it's doubly wrong.

Never been a fan of Cisco..

Top 5 for Washington? Absolutely. But he, to me is like Surtain at corner. They will sink or swim based off scheme.

He needs to be able to get free range like Honey badger

Moehrig would be an excellent pick for us at 10.
I would much rather reach on perceived "value" than go another season with disasters at safety.

Yes, I consider Woods to be a disaster.

No team will ever win with that guy starting.
