Trey Wingo podcast: Did Dallas win the Micah a Parsons trade?

Quinnen for Micah straight up is easily a Dallas
Wrong to a ridiculous extent that shows your lack of football knowledge.

Quinnen and Clark for Micah is a slam dunk.
Wrong. Getting warmer though.

If Lawrence is a bust, this trade leans W Packers.

Micah is the type of elite pass rusher that teams hunt for in every single draft.

If Clark was elite it’d be different but Clark is merely good.

Although I know you’re one of those old-head thinkers who think you’re smarter and better than everyone else, including the literal NFL GMs and personnel managers and coaches who made the trade, and will do everything in your power to discredit Micah and his 65 sacks, 11 forced fumbles and nearly 200 solo tackles in a mere 5 years.

Yeah yeah his podcast is annoying. I know.

And Charles Hayley ******** in other guys cars through the sunroof was probably more annoying.

If we got someone like Crosby, who would be an addition to ... not part of this trade, then I'd say I'm glad that we traded Micah, but only because I don't believe we would have made these moves if we kept him. He would have been out there lined up next to Mazi, Odighizuwa and Eze (since we drafted him before we traded Micah) and the Jones boys would have been satisfied. Since they traded Micah, they've been at least trying to win the trade.

You give Micah a lot of credit. Micah is currently hurt wnd is gonna miss 5 or 6 games this year. That’s two seasons down the drain. No matter how good or bad you think Clark and Quinnen are they are at least available.

When Parsons is healthy enough to play for a season then I think we can take the approach of evaluating Lawrence being a bust. Cowboys would be screwed right now if Micah was hurt for two season straight after giving him 48 million a year.

I think at best they may be trade for a Kenny Clark or sign that caliber of player but I don’t think we sniff a Quinnen if Micah is here.

Possibly. We were satisfied with Odig and had just handed him a sizable contract. But we knew pretty early in camp that Mazi was not going to be the answer.
