Trick Plays?

Is anyone else surprised at the lack of trick plays this year?

The last few seasons with Parcells have been full of trick plays. It seems like we had at least one trick each week.

This season, I think we've run one reverse (Terry Glenn for 22 yards). And I'm not sure that a reverse even counts as a trick play anymore.

No flea flickers, no halfback options, etc....

Are we waiting on something? I'm just curious....

it's because outside of Glenn, we had no weapons, and our running game sucked

not no more, only teams who struggle to generage big plays on O use trick plays often

With Dat and Fujita gone we have no Jap players to run our Jap plays.

Yes, I know neither player was Japanese.

I don't mind a few 'gadgets'..regardless of how many weapons we have..and Bill has utilized his share of them despite his personnel.

Maybe we see something a little different tomorrow nite.

Speaking of 'tricks', some Skins fans have been complaining that's ALL they see from Saunders. (as in, they'd rather see Portis run)

yeah, I don't mind them either, and Bill likes them, but not utilizing them at all isn't exactly a bad thing
