It's officially 97 degrees right now, and cloudy. The streak could be in danger, just days shy of the record. I'm nervous. #prayfor100

Important: everyone must crank the heat in their homes and cars and open the windows. Light grills and fireplaces (safely), too #prayfor100

Weathermen are saying the streak is dead. 3 days shy of the record. A lot of suffering for nothing. This is a day that will live in infamy.

I believe the streak is currently at 40...

My prayer would be that the record NEVER gets broken, even if it's within hours of being broken.

It's not smart to want negative experiences to exceed previous negative experiences for the sole purpose of recording a new number.

Oh I agree. I can't wait for the streak to be over! I replied to Miller "THINK SNOW!" :D

Shut your mouth. Where do you live? Exactly. We've been suffering over here in what has been the hottest summer in my 30yrs. I want a RECORD!!

I was in Dallas in 1980 when we had record heat. I am actually in North Dallas as we speak, I just like to tell people I am in Tuscaloosa. :D

I was there in 1980 too. A miserable summer that one was.

Yeah, people complaining about this summer don't even know what real heat is.

(I'm just joking)

We hit our all time high summer also but it was only 108.

It's still only 91 here at 4:00 p.m... After 50 straight days, it looks like the 100 day streak is done. Even a chance of rain tonight and tomorrow. It's 75 in OKC... Is it the apocalypse?
