I agree then the defense would start keying on him more because they can't seem to stop him,and that leaves another player wide open for a TD .Or a game clinching first down or a big play ,he makes everybody around him better.

Yeah, because the best runners also gave great TEs on their teams. The best QB... are they actually as great without a superior TE?

There's a reason for the rushing correlation, is all I'm saying. Maybe it doesn't show on the TE's stat sheet, like this year's SB for TE stats. But both teams had excellent TEs and both teams have been to recent SBs.

TE isn't the only factor, but it's often a crucial piece of a championship offense. All I'm saying is Ferguson is OK, Schoon is OK, but I think Warren gives you that guy that defines your team for a decade.

Would Witten have been a first if you knew he was that guy? I think so...

Tight end with Schoon and Ferg just doesn’t seem wise.

Not this year . Maybe next year go high in the TE sweepstakes but not only Ferguson who’s coming off an abysmal year you have a 2 tied up in Schoon and a high dollar UDFA in Spann Ford . Give these three one last yr to flash then throw in the towel .
