This guy kinda sneaked onto the roster as a Reserve/Future guy. Of all the spare no name guys we have currently on the team, he seems to jump out a litte based on the following:

Tall, sinewy frame with long arms which he uses to reach out and grab; wraps and engulfs ballcarrier in grasp, like a Venus flytrap.

**(Insane measurements from NFLPA Game, courtesy of commenter ROFLCOPTER16/@FAILCOPTER16: 10 3/8" hands, 36 5/8" arms, 83 2/8" wingspan. Um, holy ****. For comparison's sake, D.J. Fluker has 36 3/8" arms and 87" wingspan, both longest at the Senior Bowl, measurements which had everyone in shock and drooling. Okpalaugo's arm length is literally unmatched and defines the word "rare." Yeah, he's a physical super-duper-freak.)

He's very raw, but he might have a little something. Anyone know anything about him?

What's it going to be then, eh?

It appears he is flailing to get Zach Line here with his long sinewy arms.

but can he play football? people said witten was slow, couldn't get out of his breaks fast enough, lumbering, etc. the rest is history. on the other hand, ekuban had all the measurable and we know how that ended up.

can he play football?

That's the question. Looks like he has gotten heavier since the draft. Now up to 260. I'll be keeping an eye on him come training camp.

Him and Caesar Rayford. Rayford was just a rook last year. If one or even both of these guys can turn into something it would be a great help.

Yes, I had reviewed his measurables in the past. He's definitely a freak.

He looks OK in college game footage.

The Cowboys definitely seem to like DEs with length. Okpalaugo has some similarities to George Selvie and Ceasar Rayford. DEs with that kind of length don't have to have elite quickness to be successful.

If Marinelli likes what he sees, then there is at least some potential for these 2 athletes, and it's minimal investment at this point.
If anyone can coach 'em up, he can.
