Cowboys are in good company with 12 win WC teams. Most went to either championship game or Super Bowl
Yes sirThe Titans?
Lol ok so I wasn't crazy after all! There was one in nfc East. I forgot about us in 1980. We were the first. That’s what happens when you go by memory. Lol
Wow, I did not know thatRavens in 2000. Greatest defense besides 85 bears in NFL history couldn't win their division.
Titans didn’t win 12
The Giants.Thought this might be fun.
Please don’t look up. Use your memory.
I think we where a 12-4 Wild card team in 84 when Eric Dickerson came to Dallas and ran us out of Texas Stadium.Thought this might be fun.

We were 9-7 in 84. Missed the playoffs .I think we where a 12-4 Wild card team in 84 when Eric Dickerson came to Dallas and ran us out of Texas Stadium.
I was at that playoff game . It was miserable .l recall Dallas finishing second in the NFCE with 12 wins in 1983. If memory serves, they were tied with Washington at 12-2 entering the final two weeks. What I won't forget is that huge week 15 matchup at Texas Stadium v Joe Gibbs' bunch where we fell flat in the No, Danny! No! Game. The Cowboys would not win again, ending it all in the wild card round v the Rams on a cold and miserable day in Irving.
Division tiebreaker came down to point differential or points scored
There is still a chance to win the division.Thought this might be fun.
Please don’t look up. Use your memory.

Off by one year 83 was the 12-4 year.We were 9-7 in 84. Missed the playoffs .
A lot of the NFL fanbase was so exsaperated of the '85 Bears beating the crap put of most of their oppenents (blanked the Cowboys 44-0 and the Falcons 36-0 in consecutive games)..AND especially after their "Super Bowl Shuffle" video came out - were really pulling for the Patriots to pull off that upset. To date, 11 wild card teams have made the Super Bowl. At No. 11 are the 1985 New England Patriots, who became the first team to win three road games to make the Super Bowl before being annihilated by '85 Chicago Bears.
