I'll take a stab at Paul Palmer. I think its likely it was the 89 season since that was the year Herschel departed and Emmitt arrived the next offseason.

I think Palmer was probably their leading rusher that year. They had NOBODY!

Palmer had 1 good run his whole cowboy career. I remember that run too forr some reason. I cant even tell you his number, but I remember that run.
