Chiefs fans have been complaining about the refs constantly on X showing play after play where they think a penalty was called but it wasn't a penalty. The problem is, they do not know the rules and that's why they think it is not a penalty. For example, when their LT was called for holding on Fowler they claimed it was a clean pancake block. But the league rules clearly state that grabbing and twisting a player to the ground is holding, which is exactly what happened on that play. Perhaps they had gotten away with it before - which is a problem in the NFL - consistency - but regardless, it is still against the rules.
I saw one penalty that was called that was not deserved. One of the DPIs called against McDuffie I thought was a little ticky tack considering both players were wrestling, but the rest were legitimate penalties.
