I'm not sure. Sports announcers and game analysts are actually independent contractors; they do their work for and across different broadcast entities.
Take basketball for example. Mike Breen is the No. 1 announcer for the NBA on ESPN - but he also does New York Knicks games for the MSG (Madison Square Garden) Network.
And when the NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament comes around, TNT NBA studio analyst Charles Barkley goes over to CBS to offer his commentary on the collegiate game matchups throughout "March Madness".
Since it's they are different professional sports - and their seasons overlap only two months- September and October (include the first week of November with the expanded MLB playoffs).... I don’t see any problem with Joe Buck continuing his baseball broadcast career with FOX, while going to ESPN to do MNF.

Well, Troy is relieved. He was wondering who was going to introduce him as HOFer Troy Aikman. Buck'll need to do that a lot since fans who watch ESPN are slow.

The network is not keen on bringing back anchors and reporters that left for greener pastures.
(A brief search by me only revealed Keith Olbermann the only one who left, then was hired back.)
After Andrews went through the tibulations with being stalked and the aftermath, ESPN coerced her to talk about it publicly on TV before she could get back on air to her assignments for the network.
Unless she lets bygones be bygones- I don't envison Andrews going back.

I'd imagine he can probably work on both networks. Kenny Albert used to broadcast NFL on FOX and hockey in NBC.

FOX did Oliver wrong when they demoted her to the No.2 broadcast trio group and put Erin Andrews (newly hired away from ESPN) with Buck and Aikman.
