Troy Aikman's BDay

happy birthday to one of the greatest to ever do it.
:bow:AND THANK YOU...FOR EVERYTHING:bow:

Troy turns 55 today. Happy Birthday, man! Now, go call our game and have half the board say you are Chiefs fan.

No way a Chiefs fan.......he said many years ago he was an Eagles fan.....and it wasn’t a hot mic moment

Meanwhile, someone else could be standing 10 feet from the side of the barn and still have trouble hitting it.

Meh.... Dak sucked at the Pro Bowl skills competitions I watched too. Meanwhile, Dak wins the big games, and Carr looked horrible in most games in his career. Some players just have those instincts and gifts on gameday.... the playmakers. Even Jimmy used to talk about that, and how he would try to find hidden value in the draft by picking the guys who have that knack for performing on the field vs practice or drills.

He does? Which ones are you talking about? Last time I checked he has 1 playoff win in 5 and a half seasons as a pro. A 1-2 playoff record tells an entire different story than what you are trying to portray. Dak in 2019 was the very definition of 'suck'.

You got me. Maybe should have left "big" out. Season games can be big, but I agree that Playoffs are what matters. My point is though, and I think you realize that, is Dak is a much better gameday QB than Carr. Hit the targets all you want, I'll still take the QB who comes through on Sunday and wins.

He calls Cowboys games objectively like he should but naturally fans here hate him for it. They think because he played for the team he should cheerlead the team during broadcasts. Troy’s broadcasting career has earned him some haters here to the point where some try and disparage him as a football player.

His celebration got off to a great start yesterday when his alma mater went into the Coliseum and scored 8 TDs -nearly doubled the score - to take home the Victory Bell.
And his first university bounced back from an unexpected loss with a hard-earned win.
