Troy as GM like John Lynch?

This time last year Lynch was fool. Remember he passed on Mahomes and Watson as well. I don’t even remember who they drafted that year.

Mahomes went 10th and Watson went 12th. A few teams were wrong.

Also, someone said Lynch inherited Garroppolo. Not true, he's the person who traded for him.

I think they like each other, and respect each other... They just don't see eye to eye on running a team.

I’ve always believed that Troy has been a little bitter about the way he was released. Jerry didn’t seem to want to address much about Troy’s negative comments, only to say that Troy doesn’t like the way he runs the team. Troy ripped Jerry for not parting ways with Garrett sooner but according to both Stephen and Jerry, Garrett wanted them to take their time. I’ve never seen Troy tear into Jerry and the organization the way he has this year. It’s been one criticism after another.

I know it will never happen with jerry but don’t you think Troy will have the success Lynch has had with SF.
Reason being that for almost 20 years, he’s had insider access to the best teams in football (as the #1 Fox team) and he knows what a successful organization looks like now (not in the 90s).

I think he'd be successful as a GM.................it just won't be in Dallas as long as Jerry's breathing.............even if he was guaranteed a super bowl win Jerry wouldn't do it....it would be admitting he was wrong.

Who knows how he would do? What HC would he hire and what would be his blueprint for a team? How would be run FA and the draft? He would never do it for Dallas as long as the Jones family owns it. He wouldn't work with hands on ownership.

Troy's ego is too big. A good gm has to work hand in hand with his hc. Not so sure troy can do this. Anyone can justifiably criticize jerry. But troy supported Garrett . What more needs to be said.
