You would still wanna see what kinda shape your potential player was in and how fast, etc. he looked.

But I'm starting to buy into the whole OT rumor.

That said, I'm not that impressed with Gorin.

Started the superbowl, only allowed 2 sacks last year in 12 games, he can't be much worse than Fabini.

I'm an upgrade over Fabini or Petitti.

or Pettiti or Columbo...I dont think fabini played against Seattle, but niether Columbo or Pettiti showed much the other night and Parcells himself admitted Pettiti isnt making the kind or progress on the field he had hoped

whatever, your boy Petitti is the one who gave up 13 sacks last year.

Ok, he gave up 7 sacks the last 3 games - rookie wall

6 sacks allowed your first 14 games for a rookie, 6th rounder, playing RT for the first time, and being out of shape I think is pretty good.

There were probowlers last year that gave up more than 6 sacks.

Let's see how he does this year.

That's from the RT spot.

LDEs don't get 13 sacks.

Didn't the Pats outright cut him last year only to bring him back later? I wouldn't trade anything for him I do know that. We can do better after the cut to 53.

Funny, Strahan broke 13 four times in his career. Kearse once. Peppers has seasons of 10.5, 11, and 12. Little broke 13 once and hit 12.5 in another year.

What do they have in common?

A. They are all LDEs.

B. Pettiti had 6 games against them.

I'm not saying Pettiti didn't struggle last year. But he face guys who make a living eating up rookie RTs.

Good point and I stand corrected.

But I believe that if Petitti plays the left, he gives up twice as many sacks. That was kinda my point.

I think that our division is actually a bit stronger on the LDE side. Osi Oimnoteventryingtospellthat is the only guy on the other side of note.
