Austin Joins Exclusive 250-Yard Club

[FONT=verdana,geneva]Did anyone wake up this morning and ask yourself . . . Did Miles Austin really do that yesterday? [/FONT][FONT=verdana,geneva]No offense to Miles, but his first NFL start and he goes for 250? Very impressive, especially considering that his two long touchdowns, including the game-winner was most of his work. He caught the short pass, broke some tackles and then used his speed to win the footraces. [/FONT]
[FONT=verdana,geneva]Austin is one of 15 players in NFL history to record 250 yards in a game. He’s the only player in this group to catch the game-winning score in overtime.[/FONT]
[FONT=verdana,geneva]Here’s the list of players. While it’s impressive that Austin is in a group of just 15 players in NFL history, some of the names in the group should suggest that Austin isn’t exactly destined for greatness. But on this day in Kansas City, he was pretty darn great. [/FONT]
