I take it you don't like the female anatomy, because whether you like vampire shows or not...there are always plenty of things a red blooded hetero male would consider eye candy.:laugh2:

I've never seen the garbage show and don't know the premise.

It involves vampires and that's an automatic fail.

It's on HBO. While it's not perfect, HBO very, VERY rarely carries "garbage" series. They are often highly acclaimed programs and True Blood is no exception.

the only vampire show I ever watched was BTVS.
Before TrueBlood, that was the case for me as well. I tried watching Angel, but could never firmly plant myself within its storyline.

Joss Weldon (sp?) really expanded on the cult film's premise. Not only would The Slayer kill vampires, but all demons. It was a great idea which helped put The WB on the map. Heck, I thought that UPN would run the show into the ground after The WB cut it loose, but Weldon tied up the series' final two seasons very well in my opinion.

The only thing I really actually held against the show was the killing of Anyanka in the series finale. In my opinion, if ANY character should have bit the dust in the end, it should have been Dawn. I never did like her "The Light" character. Why she survived the apocalypse and not Anya, I do not know.

Holy cow. That was ... interesting. She put in the time at the gym, that's for sure.

I don't know man, to me she has kind of a very moderate "Sandra Bernhard" look to her.

To each his own I guess.

Very moderate? More like she looks 30 years younger and infinitely prettier than Sandra Bernhard. Although I do see a resemblance, in an ugly step-sister kind of way. But I guess to each his own.

Tara needs to die.
That's just wrong. :laugh1: Let's take a closer look at Miss Tara:
  • Her mother has traumatized her as both a child and as an adult.
  • She can bed any man she wants except the one guy she has loved her whole life, who, by the way, is an undeniably huge sex addict.
  • As Sam's on-again/off-again bartender, she drinks more while on the job than the customers she serves.
  • Her fiery temper is only exceeded by her gullibility.
  • Nearly indestructable pagan demi-gods love to serve her bloody heart pie.
  • Psychotic vampires want to make her their bride.
  • And she's cute as hell.
What more could you what from a fictional character? :p: The only thing I would change about her is that awful southern accent. She tries, but she doesn't pull it off.

I didn't mind her in the beginning but she has been annoying as hell for sometime now.

Here is the star of the show as far as i'm concerned. They better not mess with this character too much.
