Unlike last year, I have no real confidence in Garrett, Romo, or the offense in general. I have very little hope of pulling out a win tomorrow. Bye week turnarounds never seem to be our team results.
So how does one remain hopeful?
1. I believe in this defense...score a little, don't turn the ball over, and I think this team can win some games.
2. I'm expecting plenty of disappointing loses, but IF the OL, which never played together in preseason, can improve as any OL would be expected to do as the season wears on, maybe we'll be a better team in December than we are now. If we can manage to hover around .500 through 10 weeks, maybe we can get it together and win some games down the stretch...maybe we can get hot at the right time.
That's what is going to keep me going, even if tomorrow is disappointing. If the offense can't improve during the season, then our coaches suck...when you have a good defense, you can find a way to win games with 17-20 points, but the offense cannot add to the other team's total.
I still have hope for the season, and unlike others, I think we beat Carolina easily next week regardless of tomorrow's outcome.
