Trying to remain positive and hopeful

Unlike last year, I have no real confidence in Garrett, Romo, or the offense in general. I have very little hope of pulling out a win tomorrow. Bye week turnarounds never seem to be our team results.

So how does one remain hopeful?

1. I believe in this defense...score a little, don't turn the ball over, and I think this team can win some games.

2. I'm expecting plenty of disappointing loses, but IF the OL, which never played together in preseason, can improve as any OL would be expected to do as the season wears on, maybe we'll be a better team in December than we are now. If we can manage to hover around .500 through 10 weeks, maybe we can get it together and win some games down the stretch...maybe we can get hot at the right time.

That's what is going to keep me going, even if tomorrow is disappointing. If the offense can't improve during the season, then our coaches suck...when you have a good defense, you can find a way to win games with 17-20 points, but the offense cannot add to the other team's total.

I still have hope for the season, and unlike others, I think we beat Carolina easily next week regardless of tomorrow's outcome.

No matter how bad the previous loss was or how bad the team seems...I'm always hopeful and remain positive for a win. Even if I know we don't have a chance, or just have a bad team like in 1989. Chances were they would lose....but yet I went into every game thinking this will be our first win.

Just as tomorrow, i will start watching thinking, we will get it together, and win. It's a new week, new game, and this team has it's issues, but also has its strengths.
It's only game 5 and we are 2-2.

trying to remain positive and hopeful is all us fans can do.

it's out of our hands.

jones has us and this team in a boa constrictor hold from hell.

chuck I think this defense is good enough to keep us in most games if the offense will quit turning the ball over and special teams doesn't let us down.....

Agreed... New game, new hope, until the clock strikes 00:00 in the 4th quarter.

Yep..defense plays well and tony rebounds and has a good game, a win would not be surprising.
Im sure a lot of people will be upset at the fact we could be in first place after tomorrow...messing up draft position with annoying wins and all.

i do think it's harder for us who are 40 or older to remain positive though.

hell we don't have much time left in the real world much less.... jerry's world.

Lose to the Ravens...fine, you should.
Lose to the Panthers...I think the season is over.

How could anybody know who this team is? This team is Jeckyl and Hyde.

I could see us winning big, and I can see us sucking as well. I hate that. I want it fixed ASAP!

This should be every true fans thought process, I just don't understand how it couldn't be. I go into every game knowing that we can win it. Its the only way I know how to approach it and its the only way I want to approach it. You darn right we can win tomorrow and any other game we play.

I think the vast majority of us are foolish enough to think we can win any and every game. I've gone into plenty of games expecting a loss but I'm still at the edge of my seat for every play, celebrating positive plays and cursing negative ones.

I heard a pretty amazing stat today.

The Commanders have lost 8 straight home games. I haven't even checked if that is true but if it is, wow.
