I'm 48 years old. Graduated high school in the 80s. Weight lifting competitions didn't start until the mid-to-late 90s. If you are questioning whether I full squatted 775#, there are over 50 ex-teammates on my FB friend's list who will attest to that, including my twin brother. :cool:

A 775lb squat while weighing 175lbs? Nobody has even seen the inside of a gym would even try on this tall tale. How embarrassing.

Steadied his balance coming back up, if you want to call that help, I guess so.

Looks to me like his 'spotter' is bearing a good deal of the load.

Whatever. The kid is obviously strong. Still, nobody is coming to convince me that's a good lift.

730# is good. But...not as good as my 775# high school squat record. :cool:

not only your high school. But maybe a world record.........
This guy is listed as a record holder at 181lbs squating 716. looks like the new 181 record is 890. You were right there.. You sure that wasn't a leg press machine...

Not bad but I did that weight out of the womb as a warm-up
