Not shocked by the move, players inthe trenches usually get picked up rather quickly. Would be interesting to see how much he produces with the Cards.

Nothing says he can’t play end in a 34, hell he may be suited for it. Wasn’t like he was playing badly here. Just didn’t make a lot of sense carrying 7 DTs and he probably wasn’t going to be resigned after this season!

There wasn’t really anything to like about Hill. However, he did seem to be coming on a little. While some teams improved themselves at the trade deadline by adding a player the Cowboys lost a player by letting a second round pick go.

I wish him the best of luck in Arizona. He's a JAG but shows some ability from time to time.

Now Gallimore needs to go out and prove cutting Hill instead of him was the right move.

Look at it this way, the Cowboys are so stacked on defense that they are forced to cut players with legitimate skills.

Hill was never great but he wasn't bad, not by NFL standards. Besides, I get the feeling that he just wasn't Quinn's type of DT. Quinn seems to go with a DT with specific skills or physical assets. For example, he like tall, long armed DB's.

It's a shame we couldn't get anything for him but that requires a skill set that Belicek used to have and Jerry never had.

Jerry so wants to show everyone what a fantastic negotiator/dealmaker he is. He is such a detriment to this team as a GM.
