There wasn’t really anything to like about Hill. However, he did seem to be coming on a little. While some teams improved themselves at the trade deadline by adding a player the Cowboys lost a player by letting a second round pick go.

Look at it this way, the Cowboys are so stacked on defense that they are forced to cut players with legitimate skills.

Hill was never great but he wasn't bad, not by NFL standards. Besides, I get the feeling that he just wasn't Quinn's type of DT. Quinn seems to go with a DT with specific skills or physical assets. For example, he like tall, long armed DB's.

It's a shame we couldn't get anything for him but that requires a skill set that Belicek used to have and Jerry never had.

Jerry so wants to show everyone what a fantastic negotiator/dealmaker he is. He is such a detriment to this team as a GM.
