The biggest knock on Hill is that he shouldn't have been picked where he was picked. I'm not happy we didn't get more out of him....but I also don't care than he's gone. He's no longer a Cowboy. All he is at this point is a poor draft pick who's gone.

I wish him the same good luck I'd wish every young man who's living out his dream of playing in the NFL. But I don't care anymore how he does if he's not playing against us.

This, trench players are like seven footer’s in basketball, someway and somehow you will be in the NBA.

Not always.. the principal at my son's middle school was 7'1" .. and about as athletic as a tree stump. When I asked him if he ever played any basketball he laughed and said yeah a little in high school but that was about it.

There wasn’t really anything to like about Hill. However, he did seem to be coming on a little. While some teams improved themselves at the trade deadline by adding a player the Cowboys lost a player by letting a second round pick go.
There was a lot to like. Explosion being the biggie.

Worst part about rod marinelli is somehow is son in law is now in the league as a defensive line coach for the raiders. Un freakin believable
Marinate was an excellent coach, but very poor at personnel evaluation.

Marinate was an excellent coach, but very poor at personnel evaluation.

The thing that got me about Marinelli is that he was notorious for not wanting high round picks.. yet the only times he had really good defenses they were littered with high round picks like Sapp, Brooks, Barber, McFarland in Tampa and Urlacher, Briggs, Vasher, Harris, Peppers, Tillman et al in Chicago. I mean did it bother him to have great players or was it just that he didn't get any credit for them being great.. since, you know, they were great without him.

Cardinals run a 3-4 defense.

What is Trysten going to play? Nose Tackle?
:muttley:

I wish him the best but he struggles in 1v1 blocking and couldn’t imagine him taking on the nose duties. Gotta be for depth or situational rotation at DE. Or maybe for pass rush in nickel situations if they run it.

I am sure he is happy to be on any team collecting an NFL salary.

Pretty sure as a 4 year player his salary for the season was already guaranteed. But someone else might know different on those rules?

..this guy was HUGE red flag.

When news broke out that he had fallen asleep, during important presentation at meeting.

Your drafted high by Dallas, your in the NFL. But this meeting is not worth your time?

This is interesting since I wonder if the Cowboys were looking to re-sign him to the practice squad. They still have two or three open spots there as well as one on the active roster.
