Round 1, Pick 22: Andre Caldwell, WR, Florida
The Cowboys may debate between wide receiver and cornerback, but the elusive and big playmaking Caldwell is their best first-round choice.

Round 1, Pick 28: Reggie Smith, DB, Oklahoma
If they indeed grab a top wide receiver such as Andre Caldwell with their first first-round pick, the Cowboys can get this tough, versatile cornerback who can start early in his career and even move to -- and shine at -- safety if needed.

Round 2, Pick 61: Jamaal Charles, RB, Texas
With Julius Jones likely to leave in free agency, the Cowboys will be looking for a back to share carries with Marion Barber. Charles' running style would complement Barber's nicely.

Round 3, Pick 92: Geno Hayes, OLB, Florida St
Hayes is an ideal fit for Wade Phillips' aggressive 3-4 defense because of his speed, explosive closing and violent hitting

Well, I like Reggie Smith. The rest of it is rather blah.

I feel the same way. None of the other picks excite me. They are all very safe to be honest.

Caldwell would be a great pick in a later round but no mock draft I've seen has him going in the first round. Also doubt Reggie Smith falls to us with either first round pick. Don't know much about Jamaal Charles except I thought I read somewhere that he fumbles an awful lot so I'm not sure I want him.

Call me crazy but I'd rather have Jamal Charles than Felix Jones any day of the week. He's bigger, shiftier, and faster. He has had some issues with putting the ball on the ground but really seemed to shore that up last year after the OU game. Plus I think he'll be available later than Jones.

I'd be thrilled with Charles, he would perfectly compliment MBIII IMHO.

I'm hesitant on guys who they say may move to safety, it usually means the scouts don't like their hip turn at corner.

Smith was a FS who turned into a CB over his years at Oklahoma.

love the Charles pick, that's about all the good I can say about that mock, Caldwell would be a major reach at 22, and I'm not sold on Reggie Smith, he may be one of those jack of all trades, master of none

I used to subscribe to TSN, but found it pretty weak

We might as well package and move up for McFadden if we are going to be drafting like this.

Caldwell at #22 would cause a riot in Dallas, you would have to be ******** to even consider him a 1st rounder.

I will literally assault Jerry Jones if this is how our draft goes.
