He could become the next Jaylon Smith.
Or the next Bo Jackson. Hip injury killed his career.
He could become the next Jaylon Smith.
Bosa did last year.
Dudes a doctor and doesn't know the difference between "loosing" and "losing"?
https://www.usatoday.com/story/spor...ate-focus-nfl-draft-after-surgery/1658347002/Bosa got injured in week 3 and missed the rest of the regular season because of it. The only game he chose not to play was the Rose Bowl
https://www.ninersnation.com/2018/11/27/18115224/nick-bosa-2019-nfl-draft-49ers-number-one-pickbut said if the Buckeyes were in the CFP he would've played.
And that he wrenched it with such force and power he injured all the associated tendons and ligaments. If I remember the biggest part of Bo's injury was they didn't catch it right away. I could definitely be wrong about that it's been a long time.
It looks like they are calling it a dislocationLots of speculation here but the impact seems to depend on whether or not the hip dislocated or fractured. Bo Jackson fractured his which led to a replacement.

Bo ended up with necrosis - part of the bone "died", hopefully they've learned something since then, and can avoid that.
I told my wife when it happened that it was the same type of fall Bo had - onto his knee, driving it into the ground. But it does seem to me Tua hit both his knees at the same time, while Bo fell on one knee, maybe Tua had the impact spread onto both legs which might lessen the effect.
We'll see, hope for the best for him...
I guess I should add this isn't official yet just a Dr. guessing.
He is an amazing young man. He will be a great success at whatever opportunity he pursues.
