Find a real NFL QB, not a read option/spread option guy. Dig deep in the kids coming out next year. Find a REAL QB. There has to be one somewhere.

Uh, Tua is not a read option/spread option guy. He is a conventional quarterback who can play either of those styles. Tua would be a GREAT play action passer or drop back passer. He has uncanny accuracy, and if you can protect him in the pocket, he'll eat teams alive.
Durability is an issue, but he needs to learn how to be judicious when he scrambles. And he needs to learn to throw the ball away and live another down.

If the Cowboys passed on Moore because he is a lefty they sure don't need Tua.
Moore is still the winningest quarterback in college football history and still the best quarterback on the Cowboys.
But Jerry needs to do some dealing and whatever it takes to get Burrows.

They need to whatever they need to do to get Burrow. He's special and he is a QB you can build a team around. Draft some of LSU's receivers too.

So what are the chances that Tua drops to us in the draft?

I’m all for tagging Dak and drafting him. Gives a year for him to heal up and develop and a transition year for our team. I like the word transition better than “rebuild” lol.

We’re going to beat the Deadskins and the Eagles are losing to the Giants so that we drop down from around 13th to 25th. So we’ll have no chance for Tua, but the haters will rejoice because they will be able to whine about winning the last game and dropping down.
