With Tucker as our LT it will actually put a bigger burden on Pettiti. Currently we use the RB or TE to chip the DE to help out Pettiti. We now have to keep a TE or RB in to help out Tucker or Pettiti or both. Whitten could see a few less balls or we risk it and leave one of our tackles alone to block the end or a blitzing guy. We could be in trouble with the quicker DE's in the league. Wistrom could have a big day next week unless we get an extra chip on him.

How about Kurt Vollers for backup duty or is he still our there? He seemed to be the answer in waiting last season.

I think Vollers has to wait until after the 8th or 9th week to resign because he had an injury settlement. Not sure exactly how many weeks because it is based on how long he would have been out due to injury, then they add a few weeks to that to sign with the same team. Rashard Lee had to do it during the 2003 season.

Quick DE's are a big problem with Adams.......so now they will be a problem for Tucker.............we will be alright.

Dallas is going to have to look at keeping two players in to help the tackles if needed on most passing plays until the staff gains confidence in one or both to hold up by themselves.

This will be an adjustment, but the player asked to stay in will often be able to release into a pattern if the protection looks solid and he isn't needed to protect drew Bledsoe.

We can do this.
