So it all starts tomorrow, and goes through March 3rd for the Franchises Tags, and Transitional Tags can be applied.

I doubt any teams start tagging right away. As this is a large window for tags to be applied.
And knowing Jerry & Son will wait until the last minutes to announce anything.
However, it also gives them time to negotiate a new contract. Which is what most teams will try to do.

So I do not expect much for a few weeks. We may get some news for any ERFA or RFA getting tendered offers. However, I still think the take their time on these as well.

Key 2026 Dates

Of course Pickens will be the top FA and discussion about getting tagged, exclusive or non-exclusive. As already beeb discussed many times.
sign and trade, just sign and keep (which is what they need to do).

RFA
Hoffman and Bass and M. Davis and Aubry and J. Thomas
Should get tendered offers.
There are different draft pick values depending what the offer is. Do they allow them to leave for the draft picks, or keep them.

They may allow Davis to be a FA and not give and offer. I think they may give Thomas a lower end tender.
Aubry just needs to be signed to a new contract.

EFRA
Steward and Butler
I think they get tendered offers.
The difference here is they either sign, or do not play.

February 17 thru March 3.

Thank you for visiting Jerry World. Keep your hands inside the ride at all times. Dispatch.

4 yrs 100 million. 77 gtd. Puts him in top 10 gtd money. Will he sign it?

The worlds most relieved man at the end of 2025 had to be Dave Mulugheta.

I can just hear him thinking, " If this fool can just put in one season and not screw it up, hes gonna make us a ton of cash"

Pick is a major, major talent, but renting him here for two more seasons may be way safer than buying him for four.

Its pretty much second round tender or original round. Hoffman, Bass and Aubrey will probably get 2nds. Davis and Thomas orgiginal. I could see one of Hoffman or Bass tendered and then trade for a day 3 pick. Probably a 6th.
