it's not a stupid call. we need to stop the run in that situation. period. the run blitz is designed to keep the ball at the line of scrimmage. the second td, the play should have been dead after one yard.

They were running run blitzes at different times all game long. They didn't just call a run blitz on the last two plays.

You can almost allow for a long one getting broken. But how do you not talk about it on the sideline and say to everyone afterwards that you HAVE to hold your run lanes and you cannot have your LBs caught up in line traffic - if you aren't hitting a hole, move LATERAL to make a play. Instead, everyone ran into the pile. Bad coaching, bad play.

why call run blitzes in that situation, all you have to do is stop the run. You dont have to stop them for a loss. We had 3 timeouts, dont let them get a first down...PERIOD...
