I was a big Michael supporter. Mostly because it seemed like he could come in and do what turning did. Maybe not hefty yards, but I just wanted him to soften the defense up.

Don't care that he's gone, I'm just glad we've got our bowling ball now.

When we first traded for Christine, I was sort of happy, then I researched and saw that he didn't really do crap in Seattle. I didn't expect much from him, but coming to these boards it seemed like everyone was thinking the only thing holding him back was not using him. It does appear there was a reason why he wasn't being used. The cult was merciless, and I didn't understand why.

lmao...OK. I get it now. But when you said "True Story"...it threw me off. But, as a stupid cowboy fan, would you please not mention how many girlfriends Turbin could catch on his own? Then, I saw what's his name involved!

(stupid cowboy mods)

Just tell him it wasn't funny. He likes truth. And it will butt hurt the over sensitive's around here:D

1. Turbin's comments seem to refute some of the claims that the Cowboys locker room was in disarray and that players where fighting and arguing with each other and that JG has lost the team.
2. The fact that he played contradicts some arguments that JG refuses to play new players until they have been in the system for weeks.
3. If our O line is complete garbage we wouldn't have gotten 136 yards from McFadden and 35 from Turbin; and if our D line was complete garbage we wouldn't have gotten 3 sacks

If I was a player from Cleveland, I'd think that Valley Ranch is promised land.

We knew Randle wouldn't cut it so CMike was our hope. McFadden is doing well but every carry makes me nervous with his history.

Nice debut, hope they keep it going for a strong 1-2 punch

Finally we seem to have made a right decision with getting him.

Wasn't there a good bit of discussion in the off-season about trying to trade for him becuz he was behind Lynch and not getting any carries?

I missed it..why was he available?

Was he hurt?

You could add quite a few more to that list but I'm not going to stir the pot by calling anyone out by name. They know who they are and how stupid they look, now.

There were quite a few of us hoping that CMike would turn out to be a good addition to the team but it wasn't because we were in love with guy. I'd never heard of him until the Cowboys picked him up. CMike has the right physical build but unfortunately not the brains to go with it. If hoping a player can make a difference on a team that is on a 6 (at that time) game losing streak is "stupid" then I guess I'm guilty.

With Cmike I never drank the Koolaid as his signing was meh to me. McFadden signing I drank Koolaid and then some, I knew that if he could stay healthy that he would do something behind this Oline. On the Turbin signing I was pleased with it and new that this kid could be a stud for us. Are the Cowboys looking to hire me for a Scout? :D

Yes I'd like to hear from all the haters who were calling him a JAG. He looked decisive and powerful with a nice burst. Dude is a load to bring down, his arms are the size of most dbs waists lol.

High ankle sprain and the Hawks had Rawls who is balling. Cleveland let him sit on the roster injured and then when he came back kept him behind crowell and johnson. Why Crowell is the starter is beyond me. Maybe he was a bit gimpy still in Cleveland.

There's people that were hoping (myself included), and there were the others that were straight up pimpin'. Whatever group you lump yourself in is up to you.

To come in on a couple days...I thought he did pretty well

I liked him alot. His running style fits our Offense.
I am a DMC fan but if Turbin can build on what he has promised today i am not sure who will be the starter in a few weeks.

Monday morning the NFL will announce that Turbin will be penalized 15 yards for Tebowing and Greg Hardy will be suspended indefinitely for being in the showers when it happened.

Players like Turbin are dangerous. He reminds me of a certain LB from Pittsburgh who bounced around then finally turned the light on. The rest is history.

To me..

starter or not starter isn't the issue..

it's can Linehan at this point of the season use them both effectively?

It's latein the season to have to re-think the running game with another new face.

But there is little choice.

Romo has to have a running game if they are going to succeed.

He cannot throw 40 times a game and win.

We'll see.

Let's hope the OL stays injury-free as there is alot of pressure on them right now.

Smith had an unusually poor game today..he has to pick things up.

I always thought Turbin was one of many role players Seattle had that made them special for a couple of seasons.
He played special teams quite a bit up there, didn't he?
