Anyone else figured him out yet?

This dude plays for the other team regularly.

He still doesn't get it.

Wait, let me take that back. He finally gets it and he is now deathly afraid of giving the ball away.

Romo is broken right now. Gonna be a long, long season if he continues to play like he has.

That was obvious last week when he threw that deep ball to Roy right before halftime. He was NOT going to throw a pick last week.Romo is Cinderella-afraid he's not good enough to last...That's why he can't be himself-because he doesn't know who that is.

He's playing scared. He wants to throw it but he's scared to make a mistake.

That Giant game killed his confidence.

Right now he is playing too scared to make a mistake, where as before he was playing wreckless. Why cant he play somewhere in the middle?

Because he's not that type of player. You can't tell gunslingers to be a bus driver. The real Romo is the one against the Giants. Which is fine when those plays work but when they don't, he's REAL bad. There seems to be no in between with him. And I say he almost has to be his self because that gives us the best chance to win, even if it costs us games. Because playing not to make mistakes and scared and nervous is way worse because all his throws are way off.

I'm not a fan of Romo but if he's going to be our QB, at least play to the style you are most comfortable with to give us a chance.

troof. he gets worse and worse the more time he spends around the genius that runs the offense. he doesnt even look like the same player any more.

Actually I think laufenberg nailed it during the postgame.

In the second half they didnt run the ball well and romo was very tenative, most likely because he had no idea if the wr were going to be where they were supposed to be, they let him down a couple of times earlier and he then was tenative.

throw in the fact that there are good players in the secondary in denver and that barber, bennett and williams were on the sideline during that last push and its a pretty tough task.

having witten staying in blocking on that last set of plays sucked.

that's cause we barely ran the ball. Garrett got pass happy again. 8 rushes in the 2nd half and only 1 from Barber. didn't you say David Lee is coaching Eli now? that's who Romo misses the most.

8 rushes in the second half? really? it was that bad? holy hell we are poorly coached.

Yes, for all the hub-bub about us needing new coaches, he is undoubtedly our most useless coach. It absolutely perplexed me why we brought him back in the same capacity for which he was once fired.

Seriously, does he have a single accomplishment as a coach? I'd be curious to see what his media-guide bio read like.

HGH to get it up.

I'm tired of him, don't defend him, he's in the level of Chad Pennington and Matt Schaub, nothing better, only serviceable and not worth 63 million dollars.

The coaches have royally *** him up. He needs to go back to doing what he does best, improvise. Recall in the 4th quarter on 4th down, shotgun snap, all kinds of pressure in his face, Romo slides, scrambles to his left then motions to Hurd to run up the middle where he hits him for a big completion that gives us a chance to win. THATS the romo I want to see. NOT the Romo who tries to be Tom Brady sitting in the pocket. Come on, how many times do you recall the old Romo taking a sack at the back of his drop? Happened multiple times yesterday. Old Romo would have slid and maneuvered till he had something he could work with. HE IS BEING MISS-COACHED.

I was thinking that same thing on the way home tonight.

Two things came to mind:

1. He's gun shy.

2. The coaching staff has pulled back on the reins so hard he's got a slipped disk in his neck.

Got to admit, the only time he looks like the old Tony is when he's running the two minute drill or in the pressure situation. The rest of the time, he appears to be over-thinking things and I'm at a loss to decide if it's because of 1 or 2. I'm leaning heavily towards #2 at this point.

I should have saved my time and just quoted you instead.
