Would we make fun of the Skins if they hired Campo as HC?

Skins will have a field day when we hire Norv who has compiled a 58-82 record as head coach.

Obviously nothing. We wouldn't be hiring him to be an OC or QB coach. It'd be in a role that he's shown absolutely nothing.

Well Norv isn't too smart when it comes to picking jobs. Let's see...the Skins and the Raiders. Poor Norv. He had nothing to do with those teams stinking while he was there.

Face it Norv is not HC material. He's a fine offensive mind and coordinator, but, like his brother, he's not a leader. He does not exude strength or any of the leadership qualities the good/great HCs possess.

Simply put, Norv's a background singer, not a lead vocal and we shouldn't want him as our HC.

Norv could help Garrett as a Head Coach, and we could bring someone in @ DC, I just put Singletary down as an example......but this is what I feel will happen as far as the position Norv and Jason will hold on this team.

I'm glad someone finally posted this.

Norv's failure there cannot be solely blamed on Snyder.

It's like saying Landry never won a Super Bowl in the 90s because of Jerry Jones' meddling presence.

Let's not let facts interfere here.

Now, perhaps I'd buy the argument that succeeding Gibbs (the first one, not the current crusted over version) was as hard as anything. Still seems like an excuse most coaches aren't afforded.

Other than rekindling memories of the '90s, I don't see the need for bringing in Turner. Garrett -- a supposedly rising mind -- is already here. Why the need for Turner? If Garrett's as good as he's being billed, I think the Cowboys would be wise to go with a defensive minded head coach.

Granted, everything could change in Dallas. These things are a crapshoot. But hiring Turner just has trouble written all over it IMO. I have a feeling if a poll were taken here a month ago, "Would you like to see Turner replace Parcells?" a vast majority would have voted no. Now that he's actually being considered, fans -- being the fans they are -- are slowly converting to the other side out of mere hope.

I don't think it's the wisest move in the world. People say Turner has been doomed by meddling owners. Will Jerry kill that trend and show Turner the respect he did Parcells?
