I basically get the feeling that if we get turner, we get singletary. hopefully we can grab some of the ravens defensive coaches as well. And maybe some ravens players.

Then we should have interviewed their DC if we wanted any of the Ravens' D coaches.

haha...I fully expect us to either a)trade up, lose a lot of picks and draft someone we don't need or b)trade down, gain a couple fourth rounders, and draft someone who can't play

Why is everyone overlooking Todd Bowles, the man deserves his chance to run the defense. I do like Singletary but unless it is as HC he likely ain't coiming to Dallas.

You know, this whole Heath Shuler thing...

If Turner didn't take him at number three, he probably would've gone to Indy at 5 or TB at 6. Point being, busts happen in the NFL. Scouts exist for a reason and it's up to the decision makers to listen to them. And according to most scouts, he was a top ten pick that year. It isn't Norv's fault tha Heath under performed at the next level.

Indeed, Shante Carver wasn't a reach at the time.

Greg Ellis was considered a reach and he's had a better career than the two DE's taken ahead of him in Andre Wadsworth and Grant Wistrom.

Charley Casserly ran the draft and drafted Shuler. Ask any Texans fan about Casserly as their GM. IT IS NOT all of Turner's fault that Shuler was taken.....

Based on the info available at the time of each respective draft, I would consider Fasano in the 2nd a dumber decision than Schuler in the 1st.
