"Bengals perennial playoff contenders.". Just doesn't sound right despite recent history.

While your post is accurate, that it doesn't sound right, the Bengals are a better team, on paper than Green Bay is right now. I am anxious to see what we do against the Packers.

Are you claiming Zeke is some speed demon? He ran a 4.49, which is a good time but not otherworldly.

The Bengal in persuit didn't have good angles because Elliott came through the line untouched. This wasn't a toss sweep to an edge; your never going to have good pursuit angles when a back hits the hole untouched at full speed.
I am claiming that Dek has a better burst and better straight line speed than Murray ever did. He is better than Murray at Murray's strength - direct north/south running. I don't care about padless 40 times and neither should you or anyone else.

Are you trying to claim that Murray can do everything Zeke does just as good or better??

You sound totally objective. Let me think about it.

I hope you are being serious as its an interesting topic. That video you showed was a young Murray who has definitely lost some speed since then.

However, in my opinion, Zeke is a much better blocker than Murray or perhaps any other RB in the league. This is more important than catching in my book, and almost as important as running. As for catching, Zeke and Murray look indistinguishable to me.

As for running Murray was naturally more patient than Zeke, but that gap is closing every week it seems. Zeke makes straight line yards through seams better than Murray, as he is lower to the ground, quicker and constantly falling forward. Murray had better cutting ability vision than Zeke early on, as Zeke just heads North like a bullet.

Murray preferred a stiff arm. Zeke prefers a hurdle. Again, a hurdle is a north/south attribute.

I think Murray and Morris are comparable talents. I think Zeke would start in front of Murray no doubt.

Thats my comparison so far.

The Green Bay game may be the regular season game of this year. Simply can't-miss TV.

We'd be debating opinions and get nowhere. If you feel Zeke is better at everything than Murray, I'm content with with just leaving it as it is.
