Turntable replacement motor?

By any chance, would anyone know where I might find a replacement motor for a 35 year old Phillips turntable? I have looked online but I have only found a used motor on eBay for a similar model turntable. I'd rather look further before taking a chance with eBay.

I am sure the motor is probably in need a a good cleaning but it is a sealed unit so I'd have to mangle the housing to get to the moving arts. Before I take any desperate measures like that I'd like to see if I can find a new or rebuild motor.

I know this is a long shot but it doesn't hurt to try.

If you can't find one, I'd take a chance on the used one, then find out which works better and experiment by taking the other apart to see if I could clean/rebuild it. That is dependent on the used one's price though.

Same here, and I'm pretty sure eBay would help if a seller tried to screw you.
