I think they were trying to have him get the ball on that last play, then cut behind all the blockers near the side line and make a run for it. It would have been pretty cool

Good question. This buffoon had a TD if he had only followed his blocker to the right. Instead he goes inside to the strength and runs into a defender. It was there in spades. I agree this guy is clueless.

It’s bizarre . When he brings a kick out of the end zone I’m thinking wish we had it at the 25. Instead of the 18 or 22 . Last night he broke a kick and if he kicks it wide the kicker wouldn’t have got a piece of him . He was gone

Not going to get on him too much for this. The chances of that bouncing in the end zone was slim. Give the SF punter credit for placing it perfectly. If he let's it bounce you and other would say 'why didn't he at least fair catch it'.

Because he’s a great returner. He routinely gets big returns. Unfortunately he can’t get past the final hurdle. The one where he ran into the kicker was particularly sad. Nonetheless, he is a good player and hopefully he can work on that last step.

It's not a rule. And as I SAID the ball wasn't going in the end zone so who cares whether he fair caught it or not at that point. Furthermore who cares if by some miracle it rolled into the end zone. We weren't going to score anyway.
